Naghost will be opening for Brazilian metal icon Massacration on November 15th at Clay Highway Bar in Curitiba.
The Curitiba-based band Naghost has just released the music video for their new song, "The Mission's Visions." With a heavy sound and influences from Afro-Brazilian religions, the group bets on a unique mix of heavy metal and cultural and literary themes.
Check out “The Mission's Vision” on the band's official YouTube channel:
Naghost emerged in 2020 from a project by André Mendes , who has previously been a member of bands such as Moonshine and Dragonheart . Leading the group, Mendes works as a historian and writer, and his artistic project seeks to innovate musically and give visibility to the traditions of Afro-Brazilian culture.
The band consists of: André Mendes (guitar and backing vocals), Julio Cezar Siqueira (bass), Jefferson Moraes (guitar), Caco Andrade (vocals), and Cayo Albuquerque (drums and backing vocals).
The show also marks Naghost's live debut, in grand style, opening for Massacration's Metal Is My Life

The event will also be very important because behind the scenes it will involve women from the city's metal scene, with encouragement from the FemMetal .
