Myles Kennedy plays “Hallelujah” with Jeff Buckley on guitar at the Olympia in Paris; watch it.

Alter Bridge's vocalist performed the track at the same venue where Jeff Buckley played in 1995

Last March 9th, Alter Bridge performed at the Olympia, a concert hall in Paris, and presented a beautiful tribute to singer Jeff Buckley .

During the set, vocalist Myles Kennedy picked up the Fender Telecaster guitar that Buckley used at that same venue in 1995 to play “Hallelujah,” the classic song immortalized by the late musician’s incredible vocals. “I’m going to do something I haven’t done in a while,” said Myles.

“This song was played here over 20 years ago by a gentleman who was probably one of my greatest influences, as well as for many other people. We owe Mr. Jeff Buckley a great deal. A great deal.”

Buckley's show was turned into the live album Live À L'Olympia , released in 2001. Now, the venue holds another exciting moment in its history. Watch the performance of "Hallelujah" below.
