The track is part of the singer's first solo album
Myles Kennedy Year of the Tiger , this Monday, the 22nd . The video shows Kennedy and his band performing in various venues such as theaters and concert halls.
The album was released in March of this year and reflects on the loss of his father, who passed away in 1974, the year of the tiger in the Chinese calendar – giving the album its name.
“He’s basically going to tell a story from beginning to end. He’s going to talk about my father’s death when I was a child and what happened to me, my mother, and my brother afterward – he’s going to tell that story. It’s a concept album from start to finish,” he said in an interview on the eve of the release of Year of the Tiger .
Kennedy recently finished a tour with guitarist Slash and, starting November 13th, he will be touring with his solo project.
