Have you ever wondered what "The Mob Rules," a Black Sabbath from Ronnie James Dio , would sound like if it were a solo composition by Myles Kennedy ? The answer has arrived in a cover by the Alter Bridge and Slash .

The musician created a completely different version from the powerful original. Without a band, Kennedy performed an acoustic cover with slide guitar, slowing the tempo to sing in the more melodic tone of his voice. Without any difficulty, this version would fit into the tracklist of the artist's new project .

This Friday, the 14th, Myles Kennedy releases The Ides Of March , his second solo album, featuring the tracks “Get Along” and “In Stride” . Watch the cover below.
