My Chemical Romance is expected to perform in Brazil in 2026, according to journalist José Norberto Flesch . No official announcement has been made yet.

On his X profile (formerly Twitter), Flesch posted that the band led by Gerard Way "accepted offers for shows in Brazil".

The proposal in question is for February, and even with all the details finalized, the official announcement is expected to take some time.

In the same post, the journalist revealed that the group had previously accepted an invitation, but later decided not to come.

My Chemical Romance's last visit to Brazil was in 2008, marking the band's first and only time in the country. They played four shows: two in São Paulo, one in Curitiba, and one in Rio de Janeiro.

My Chemical Romance announces show in Mexico.

My Chemical Romance announced last Monday, May 19th, a show in Mexico City. The show, which is part of The Black Parade  – Alive , will take place on February 13th, 2026.

The announcement was made through a video posted on the band's social media, informing about the ticket sales dates.

Currently, My Chemical Romance is preparing for the ' Long Live: The Black Parade' in North American stadiums, which begins on July 11th. The entire tour sold out within hours of ticket sales starting. Check out all the dates here.
