After posting a mysterious image on social media, My Chemical Romance announced a North American tour starting in July 2025 in Seattle, Washington. Check out all the dates here.
The band's return to the road was supposed to happen in 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic. The announcement came in the form of a video with the following caption: “Seventeen years have passed since The Black Parade was sent to MOAT. At that time, a great dictator rose to power, bringing “THE CONCRETE ERA”; a glorious time of stability and abundance in DRAAG's history.”
“Your Great Immortal Dictator wishes to celebrate our rich and historic culture, fine foods, and musical entertainments, welcoming you to these grand displays of power and determination. And lending voice and music for the first time in six thousand two hundred and forty-six days, your privilege of work ceremoniously reinstated, will be the National Band of Your Great Immortal Dictator… The Black Parade.”
The band's latest release was the single "The Foundations of Decay," which was released in May 2022. The song was the band's first in eight years.
Their most recent album, May Death Never Stop You , was released in 2014, a compilation of hits that included the new track "Fake Your Death".
