Guitarist talks about new work
In an interview with Guitar Player, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine revealed some aspects of Megadeth's upcoming album, currently being recorded in Nashville. According to the guitarist, the album will be heavier than their previous one, 'Super Collider'.
“I think people will be happy because many of the songs are aggressive again ,” says Mustaine. The musician also says that the album reveals a more classical side: “I think the most notable thing is how the fact that I played with the San Diego Symphony (in 2014) affected my work. You can see how learning Vivaldi and Bach made a difference for me.”
The Emperor Has No Clothes , Tyranocide , and Poisonous Shadows are some of the possible song titles for the album, which is scheduled for release in late 2015 or early 2016.
