Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine explained why he believes the current Megadeth lineup – with Kiko Loureiro on guitar and Chris Adler on drums – is the best the band has ever had. Read the statement:
“Ellefson was telling me the other day, ‘The band has never played so well, and never gotten along so well.’ And I was thinking about that – we’ve had lineups that were very friendly, and we’ve had super talented guys that you can’t really get close to. But Kiko has everything that Marty [Friedman] and Chris Poland had, all in one, and he’s so much fun to have around. And man, if we could clone Adler so we could have him and Lamb Of God too, Christmas would be complete for me!”
