Rockers leave messages
Several musicians posted messages in tribute to Nick Menza, who passed away last Saturday from a heart attack. Menza was the drummer for Megadeth , having participated in "Rust In Peace," "Countdown To Extinction," "Youthanasia," "Hidden Treasures," and "Cryptic Writings." He died at the age of 51.
Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine posted a message about Nick Menza on the band's official social media profile. Check out some of the messages left on social media by various musicians:
Dave Ellefson : Condolences to the family and friends of Nick Menza. We lost an incredible giant. A true artist and friend to us all.
Marty Friedman : We all know what a great and unique drummer Nick Menza was, but he was also a loyal friend, a hilarious bandmate, and a very loving father. I am beyond saddened, I never expected this. RIP brother.
