Edu Falaschi – Almah
"One day, I had the pleasure of meeting a simple and completely crazy guy! With an aggressive look, but a tranquility worthy of the greats! He came to my house in mid-2008 to audition for Almah. We talked and I could perceive his rural Rio Grande do Sul demeanor, then he asked me, 'Hey man, what do you want me to play?'" "I don't even know the Angra or Almah stuff," I laughed at his grumpy but very funny way, then I said, "Dude, do something you like," and he said, "I like to shred on the guitar" hahaha, I laughed a lot at that phrase, then the guy started playing, I was shocked by the sheer technique and ease with which he played the craziest things I've ever witnessed live from a guitarist! We talked a lot after that and from there a great friendship and a beautiful phase in Almah was born, where we had the pleasure of having him as a friend and bandmate on the albums Fragile Equality and Motion. Which will be forever remembered for his unforgettable contribution! I would like to thank the Schroeber family for taking care of our partner with all the love until his last breath! This guy fought hard, until the end, playing his guitar, which was one of the great motivators of his battle! Partner Paulão, "Old Paul" as we called him, rest in peace wherever you are! We will miss you. I miss you so much!

“When I heard Almah's first work with Paulo, I wondered where that incredible guitarist came from… After some time, I had the pleasure of meeting him and was able to tell him personally how impressed I was with his unprecedented technique combined with a fantastic tone, and I was also happy to find that besides being a super talented musician, the guy was a really great person… Good-humored and playful… Anyone who is a musician knows the daily struggle to play their instrument well… To improve… And the fight it is to persevere in this career. It brings me some relief to know that in his short life, Paulo managed to show the world a little of his gigantic talent. I am very sad. Rest in peace…”
Jean Patton – Project 46
“I became familiar with Paulo's work through Astafix and soon after with Almah. As a guitarist, I was amazed by his virtuosity and creativity, rarely seen these days. He was a lover of extreme Metal and a lot of fun. I found it very sincere of him, always being very clear about his state of health, but unfortunately, another incredible guitarist has left us, but his music is immortalized! Rest in Peace, Paulo.”
Brendan Duffey and Adriano Daga
"The world has lost a person with extraordinary talent, a simplicity and charisma rarely seen in a long time. We had the honor of playing and spending some time with what, for us, was one of the best guitarists in the world. During the first formation of Astafix, I was able to learn a lot about what it means to be a complete musician, who, in addition to doing their part 101%, played completely 'for' the band, with passion and feeling, regardless of the circumstances.
We lost a great friend and an exemplary person."
Ricardo Batalha – Roadie Crew Magazine
"Brazil has lost a talented and versatile musician – so much so that, even while exploring virtuosity, he wanted to highlight his passion for Celtic Frost on Almah's album 'Motion'. Rest in peace, warrior Paulo Schroeber."
Ed Rodrigues – Metal Miitia Web Radio
"Wherever Paulo Schroeber went with his guitar, he always left his impressive mark. Almah, Astafix, Hammer 46, among others, it was easy to recognize Paulo's unique technique and melody. He was, and always will be, an example for any musician who aspired to be a good guitarist, always showing that pretentiousness and arrogance should always be left aside in favor of true music and friendship. RIP"
