Nirvana: musician adapts “Stay Away” to prevent COVID-19

Would you leave your house during quarantine if Kurt Cobain asked you not to?

The internet is full of recommendations for preventing the spread of the new coronavirus. However, one YouTuber tried something different.

Musician Urian Hackney recorded himself (vocals, drums, guitar and bass – an example of using quarantine time in the most creative way possible!) adapting the track “Stay Away”, from Nirvana , Nevermind , and transformed it into a song full of relevant information for pandemic prevention.

Examples of lyrics include: “Leave every surface clean (I sanitize!) / Stock up on rice and beans (I sanitize!)”, in addition to the refrain, “Stay inside! / Stay inside!”, making noise for the highly recommended social isolation.
