Mushroomhead has released the music video for the track “The Heresy,” which will be featured on the band's upcoming album, A Wonderful Life , to be released on June 19th via Napalm Records .
Vocalist J Mann described the track, recorded at Abbey Road , as "the soundtrack to a dystopian, cinematic, and surreal delirium!" and, certainly, the music video reflects the adjectives chosen by the singer.
“We wanted to do something a little more provocative this time. With the current state of the world going to hell in a handbasket, we wanted to incorporate something that provided for the rapid transport of certain destruction [of the world]. The manufacture of war power and the storage of faith. The intentional destruction of the past, the future, and ultimately, humanity,” explains drummer Steve “Skinny” Felton .
After such a powerful explanation, all that's left for us to do is check out this clip, right?
