Mudvayne is back! After 12 years since their last show, the iconic group has announced that they will reunite for some performances that are expected to take place in the United States later this year .

According to the website Loudwire , Chad Gray (vocals), Greg Tribbett (guitar), Matthew McDonough (drums) and Ryan Martinie (bass) will take the stage for the first time since September 2009 to be part of the lineup for the Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, Aftershock and Welcome To Rockville festivals.

Mudvayne released their first studio album, LD 50 , in 2000, establishing themselves in the nu metal scene, which was just beginning at the time. With subsequent releases, The End Of All Things To Come (2002) and Lost And Found (2005), the group went gold and became one of the best-known bands in the genre. The band's last album was their self-titled release in 2009. The following year, Mudvayne went on hiatus, with Gray and Tribbett busy with the initial lineup of Hellyeah , featuring Vinnie Paul.

It is not yet known if the group will have new material to present at these shows.
