After more than 20 years, Mr. Bungle is back with a new album, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo , and a new thrash track, “Raping Your Mind”.
With Scott Ian from Anthrax on guitar and drummer Dave Lombardo from Slayer and Fantomas, vocalist Mike Patton discusses the band's new phase: “Recording THIS song with THESE guys was a huge dose of virtuosity and surprises every day in the studio. Trey [Spruance] , Scott's bionic right hand and its almost robotic precision, Dave's caveman-meets-Bobby Brady-esque drumming, Trevor [Dunn] . There's nothing sweeter than getting a 'slap on the ass' from true companions… where everyone has a singular motivation and mission.”
The album The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo will be released on October 30th via Ipecac Recordings, owned by Mike Patton.
