The band is expected to announce a replacement soon

Pat Torpey, the drummer for Mr. Big, announced that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and will be unable to play on the band's upcoming world tour promoting their latest album, "...The Stories We Could Tell".

Torpey commented on his health: “I’ve been dealing with Parkinson’s symptoms for the past few years, but only now have I received confirmation of the diagnosis, when the symptoms worsened.” The drummer also stated that he intends to continue playing: “I will fight this disease with the same intensity and tenacity with which I play drums and live my life. And I will continue recording and performing, as always, to the extent that I can.”

Mr. Big said he is looking for a replacement drummer and should announce a name soon.
