Mr. Big has released the second single from his new studio album, Ten . The song, "Up On You," came with a music video which you can watch below.
The release follows the track “Good Luck Trying,” which came out at the end of May . Ten , Mr. Big's tenth studio album, arrives on July 12th.
The album features 11 new tracks written by vocalist Eric Martin and guitarist Paul Gilbert, along with André Pessis and Tony Fanucchi. In a tribute to their late drummer Pat Torpey, Martin, Gilbert, and bassist Billy Sheehan recruited Nick D'Virgilio on drums.
Regarding the new single, Eric said: “Who said rock and roll has to be serious? Most of the videos we’ve done over the years have had a bit of humor. In our live show, at the end of the set, we do something we call 'The Switcheroo' where we switch instruments, I’m on bass, Billy sings, Nick plays guitar and Paul plays drums… It’s a lot of fun and the audience goes crazy. So the concept of the video was simple: 'Do the Switcheroo and go crazy for a few hours'.”
