Krisiun originated in Rio Grande do Sul

Moyses Kolesne, guitarist for Krisiun, was interviewed by Gastão Moreira on Kazagastão.

Asked if Krisiun is comparable to Sepultura, Moyses said:

“We never want to compare ourselves to Sepultura. What those guys were is something…it’s utopian. But we saw ourselves as a Brazilian representative, and that came from them, from something they started, from what they showed the way.
Brazilian Metal has a future abroad. You have to fight for it…Max talked about that a lot (…) so that influenced us a lot.”

Krisiun was formed in the 90s in Rio Grande do Sul by 3 brothers and has already released 10 studio albums.

The band has 7 songs ready for a new album, which will begin recording at the end of March in Germany.
