Contrary to what an outdated part of society believes, there is no age limit to being happy – and even less so to loving rock n' roll and Motörhead , as shown by a Brazilian woman who went viral after getting a tattoo of the band's logo on her head at the age of 62.
The tattooing process was recorded by tattoo artist Felipe Marques , who works at the Zona Sul Tattoo Shop in Recife (PE), and has already surpassed 848,000 views on the original video post.
"What do you say when you tattoo a 62-year-old woman?", wrote the professional on social media, affectionately calling the client "rock n' roll grandma" and leaving a message: "Tattoos are style, there's no age limit!"
The woman who immortalized her passion for Motörhead on her skin is Mônica Panthera, as she presents herself online. Speaking to Wikimetal , the rocker told us that she has been passionate about rock and metal for five decades, since she was 10 years old.
“I’m a huge fan of the band and I always wanted to get a tattoo of them. I also have a Judas Priest tattoo on the left side of my head, so to avoid just having it on one side, I decided to get one on the other as well, to immortalize both bands I’m a fan of,” Mônica told Wikimetal . “I felt like a star!”
And the lady already has plans for the next band to be honored with a tattoo: Pantera , of whom Mônica claims to be "the biggest fan." It's going to be amazing!
