Motorhead will get a comic book telling their story and legacy. Motorhead : The Rise of the Loudest Band in the World has 144 pages with a foreword by Rob Halford of Judas Priest.

The comic book begins in the early days, telling the story of Lemmy Kilmister, from his childhood, through the formation of Motörhead, and ending with the recording and release of the legendary album Ace of Spades.

In a press release, those responsible for Motorhead's legacy wrote that the graphic novel perfectly demonstrates the spirit and vibe of Lemmy and the entire band. The book was produced by David Calcano and Mark Irwin.

Motorhead: The Rise of the Loudest Band in the World will be released on September 7th and is already available for pre-order at this link for $29.99 (approximately R$155 at the current exchange rate). It has not yet been announced whether the comic will be available in other languages. See some images of the new release below.
