The legendary albums will be released with extra and previously unreleased material.

In 1979, Motörhead released two incredible albums that are now considered rock and roll classics: Overkill and Bomber . Now, to celebrate their 40th anniversary, the record label BMG is preparing a tribute.

Overkill and Bomber will be sold individually but also in a beautiful box set. The news comes shortly after the group released a video recorded in 1979 on their social media. The albums will be released in a box set with two CDs and three LPs featuring previously unreleased live recordings and exclusive photos from that era.

The box set also includes a 40-page book, a CD with b-sides, a seven-inch single of "No Class," a reproduction of the Bomber , a sheet music book, and a 1979 pin set. The work will be released on October 25th.
