It's possible that a series of tribute concerts for the frontman will take place
Phil Campbell, former guitarist of Motörhead, revealed that there are plans to present a series of shows in tribute to the late frontman Lemmy.
In an interview with Mitch Lafon, Campbell said he's thinking about going on stage with drummer Mikkey Dee and some special guests for a few select shows.
He revealed that James Hetfield of Metallica and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters are some of the artists they are trying to bring together for a “tribute to Lemmy and the band’s legacy” .
In 2017, Mikkey had revealed his desire to do "something public for Lemmy in a proper way that honors his memory."
Currently, the guitarist is with his project Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons, which will release its first studio album, The Age Of Absurdity, on January 26th via Nuclear Blast. Meanwhile, Mikkey Dee has joined the Scorpions and is touring with the group.
On January 10th, we lost "Fast" Eddie Clarke , the band's former guitarist. No official information about the event has been released yet, but it's possible the Lemmy tribute show could also become a tribute to Clarke.
