Motörhead launches new beer, Imperial Pale Lager

Mikkey Dee talks about the drink

In partnership with the Swedish brewery Nils Oscar Brewery and brewer Patrick Holmqvist, Motörhead today launched their beer, "Motörhead Imperial Pale Lager".

Mikkey Dee, the band's drummer, commented on the release: “We’ve released a few beers before, and for each one we want to push boundaries. Like the Motörhead Imperial Pale Lager, we did that, and this craft beer is the best it can be. We love the technique of Patrick and his team at Nils Oscar and we know our fans will love this beer as much as we do.”

Holmqvit, a self-proclaimed fan of the band, commented on the style of the drink: “I remember one day watching an interview with Lemmy on TV and they asked him to describe his playing style. He said, 'Turn it up really loud and play really hard.' That's what we did with this beer.”
