Motörhead unboxes the '1979' box set featuring Overkill and Bomber.

Motörhead's legendary albums will be released with extra and unreleased material.

After years of planning, Motörhead and BMG recently announced a release schedule that will span the band's entire career.

The first is Motörhead '79 , celebrating the 40th anniversary of Overkill and Bomber , two fantastic albums. They will receive new deluxe editions, both with book packs and two triple CDs in LP format.

The release features previously unreleased audio from the 1979 tour, interviews, and never-before-seen photos. The box set also includes a 40-page book, a CD with b-sides, a seven-inch single of "No Class," a reproduction of the Bomber , a book of sheet music, and a set of 1979 pins. The release date is October 25th.
