Mikkey Dee talks about the vocalist's health
Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee revealed that the band was forced to cancel all remaining shows on their European tour due to Lemmy's health problems.
The band had already canceled some shows last week because Lemmy was suffering from a hematoma. According to the drummer, the problems started when the vocalist tripped and injured his hip last week. "Now he needs to have fluid drained, and that's not a quick process," says Mikkey Dee.

Regarding Lemmy's mood, Dee says the vocalist is devastated: "The effect on him has been greater than it would have been on anyone else. It's like cutting off a pianist's hands."
The drummer said an official statement will be released soon. In a message to fans, Dee apologizes and says the band is not canceling shows because of the flu: "This was something we thought about a lot before deciding."
