With forty years in the business and nine studio albums, it might be a little difficult for the members of Mötley Crüe to remember the details of their entire repertoire.

In a video recorded by a fan last Tuesday, the 5th, it's possible to see that the band is using a teleprompter on stage to assist vocalist Vince Neil with the lyrics. This practice is used by many other artists such as Ozzy Osbourne , Judas Priest , and Guns N' Roses – sometimes simply to provide greater safety.

Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson criticized the practice adopted by some of his colleagues , arguing that people "pay too much" to see artists who don't remember their own lyrics. Recently, however, he admitted that he keeps a copy of the setlist lyrics backstage at each show. Although he assured that he hasn't needed to use them yet, he says he feels "more relaxed" that way.

Currently, Mötley Crüe is on a massive tour with Def Leppard , Joan Jett & The Blackhearts , and Poison , with Classless Act . In an interview, guitarist Phil Collen revealed that Def Leppard plans to come to Latin America and intends to bring at least his Mötley Crüe colleagues with them.

The band has faced some setbacks since their first day on stage , when drummer Tommy Lee had to be replaced after breaking four ribs shortly before. A week ago, Poison canceled their Nashville show after vocalist Bret Michaels had to be rushed to the hospital due to a bad reaction to medication.
