Mötley Crüe released the new song “Dogs Of War” along with an animated music video. After five years without releasing anything, this is the first song with new guitarist John 5. Bob Rock produced the song. In 1989, Bob Rock was responsible for producing the iconic album Dr. Feelgood.

Besides John's heavy riffs, the lyrics are quite powerful, as in the part: “Don't let the dogs of war/ Come knocking at your door/ As we're crawling 'cross the floor/ They'll make your skin crawl/ They'll make the stars fall/ Do they matter after all.”

The music video, directed by Nick DenBoer, also featured the band's input. In the video, the members of Mötley Crüe, portrayed as CGI characters, go through calamitous situations. Full of shocking images, the video even shows only the upper part of John 5.

Mötley Crüe, in addition to the new music, is planning a new album.

This first single resulted from the recent collaboration with Big Machine . Furthermore, Bob Rock assured that more music is coming, and an album is in the record label's plans. In an interview, Rock commented on the band: “Working with the band on this new song was the easiest recording session I’ve ever done with them. Crüe is at its peak! And they have a lot of new stuff in the drawer.” Few details have been revealed so far about the new album, besides this new song.

Despite all the controversy surrounding Mick Mars' , the band continues to produce music. Currently, Mötley Crüe is participating in various shows and festivals, including Aftershock , Louder Than Life , and Welcome To Rockville .
