Mötley Crüe and Netflix were sued by a band member who suffered injuries
According to the New Orleans Advocate , Mötley Crüe and Netflix were sued by a member of the cast of the film The Dirt .
Louis DiVincenti , a lighting technician, stated that he suffered second and third-degree burns. He was electrocuted by a power line on one of the film's sets.
The incident occurred in March 2018 on the set that was imitating the legendary Whisky A Go Go club. One of the metal pipes he was holding touched a power line.
“Even though all safety protocols were followed, an accident occurred and a crew member was injured.” The Hollywood Reporter received this statement from a production representative after the accident. Filming was not interrupted because the cast was filming at another location.
DiVincenti is seeking damages that include $1.8 million in medical bills.
