Mötley Crüe Ozzy Osbourne 's farewell show due to health problems within the band, according to bassist Nikki Sixx Vince Neil 's surgery forced the band to alter their entire schedule.

Bassist Nikki Sixx explains why Mötley Crüe was absent from the Back to the Beginning show. Despite the presence of several historical figures from rock and metal at Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath on July 5th, Mötley Crüe did not participate in the event. The absence of the band, which has a long history alongside Ozzy, generated questions among fans.

Nikki Sixx addressed the issue while answering questions on X (formerly Twitter ). When asked by a fan if the group had been invited or would have liked to participate, Sixx stated: "We've been having some health issues in the band."

He did not specify which members were facing these problems or the severity of the conditions, but the statement reinforces a recent history of cancellations by the group. In April, Mötley Crüe canceled their performance at the Boardwalk Rock Fest, scheduled for May. Additionally, they postponed a series of shows in Las Vegas, initially scheduled for the spring, now rescheduled for the fall.

The band made changes to allow lead singer Vince Neil to recover from a medical procedure he underwent earlier in the year.
