Last Friday, the 22nd, Mötley Crüe Shout At The Devil , this time featuring the first version of "Hotter Than Hell". Titled Year Of The Devil , the new edition of the album will be released on October 27th.
As Ultimate Classic Rock , this track is not part of the album's official tracklist, but was included as a bonus track on a remastered edition of the album, released on the project's 20th anniversary.
So far, the band has released two demos from that era: "Hotter Than Hell" and "Shout At The Devil ," rarities that will be included on the album Shout At The Demos & Rarities , with seven songs in total, part of the limited edition Super Deluxe Box Set.
In addition to the demos, the collector's edition includes the newly remastered album on LP, CD, and cassette. Also included are reproductions of the original 7” singles of “Too Young To Fall In Love” and “Looks That Kill,” along with a pentagram séance board, lithographs of the album artwork, tarot cards, a devil candle holder, and much more.
Released in 1983, Shout At The Devil is still considered one of the band's greatest hits, especially as it was the album that propelled the group to fame at the time. The Year Of The Devil is now available for pre-order by clicking here.
