Better Noise Music 's new horror thriller , The Retaliators , which will be released worldwide on September 14th, Better Noise Music released the film's theme song on digital platforms last Friday, the 5th, along with a music video featuring clips from the film.

“The Retaliators Theme Song (21 Bullets),” co-written by Nikki Sixx and James Michael of Sixx:AM, features Mötley Crüe , Asking Alexandria , Ice Nine Kills , and From Ashes To New , and is featured on the film's official soundtrack, which will be released on September 16 via Better Noise Music.

“Writing a new theme song for a horror movie was inspiring,” says Sixx. “This was the first time I’ve written for a horror/thriller film, and it took me in a different direction from the first theme song I ever wrote – Mötley Crüe’s ‘The Dirt (1981)’. I worked with some great new artists to create a new sound that will bring Mötley Crüe’s audience to new fans. I had a lot of fun writing it, and I think our fans will love it too!”

“We have a great list of artists on The Retaliators soundtrack,” says Better Noise Allen Kovac. “At Better Noise, we’re in the business of bringing music and film together, and the fans are responding well. We expect a great result.”
