Madre Sun released a new version of the music video for "Puzzle" today, the 23rd. The video, featured on the band's debut EP, The Speed Of Light , was filmed in Indonesia and depicts, with idyllic and electrifying scenes, friends traveling in search of the perfect wave.
The filming and editing of the video was done by Leo Cotonete , a longtime friend of the band. Every year, Leo, born in Rio Preto and based in Australia, organizes a trip with his friends to Indonesia to surf. In 2019, the destination was Sumatra Island, where they spent 12 days on a boat.
“Sailing, listening to music, playing with friends, and surfing,” that was the summary of the adventure's itinerary, says Leo. Every year, he creates a special playlist that serves as the soundtrack for the moments experienced on the trip, and that's how the rest of the group discovered and became fans of Madre Sun.
