With just 12 shows, The Rolling Stones had the most lucrative tour of the year: 516,600 tickets were sold, grossing US$115 million with the No Filter Tour , securing first place in the world rankings.
The Hella Mega Tour lived up to its grandiose name. Green Day , Weezer , and Fall Out Boy secured third place in the world ranking, with 659,000 tickets sold for 30 dates performed. The tour grossed approximately US$67.3 million.
The top 10 list of the biggest world tours in 2021 still includes Eagles in fourth place, Guns N' Roses in seventh place, Dave Matthews Band in eighth, and the progressive rock band Phish in ninth position.
