Loudwire has compiled the 10 most inspiring songs to lift the spirits of any headbanger.
The Loudwire published a list of 10 of the most inspiring songs.
The website states that "if you're like us, you seek inspiration in music to lift your spirits in dark times."
In the search for inspiration, lyrics are certainly a determining factor, as in Lamb Of God's "Walk With Me In Hell," where Randy Blythe compassionately sings lines like, "Take hold of my hand / For you are no longer alone / Walk with me in Hell."
(Freely translated as, "Hold my hand / For you are not alone anymore / Walk with me into Hell." )
According to Loudwire, the top-ranked song was the iconic "Wasted Years," a track from Somewhere in Time album . This was not only due to its lyrics, but also to the song's driving rhythm and euphoric chorus.
