On Monday night, the 19th, Morrissey announced that he will be touring Brazil for two dates in September: one in São Paulo and the other in Brasília.
The show in Brasília is scheduled for September 30th at Opera Hall, but websites like Rolling Stone and Tenho Mais Discos Que Amigos! noticed something peculiar about the venue announced for São Paulo: it doesn't exist.
On Morrissey's official website , the singer's visit to São Paulo is listed for September 27th at the Moviestar Arena. However, this venue does not exist in the city of São Paulo and appears to have been confused with the Movistar Arena concert hall, where Morrissey's show in Buenos Aires takes place.
Morrissey's visit to Brazil is part of a tour celebrating 40 years of his career. In São Paulo, the singer's official performance will take place at Espaço Unimed, and tickets can be purchased on the ticket360 . Tickets for Brasília will be available on the Show Pass . Pre
-sale begins on June 23rd, and general sale on June 30th.
