The former lead singer of The Smiths cancelled his entire Latin American tour last month, citing "extreme exhaustion"

Morrissey announced a new European tour on Monday. The former Smiths cancelled his entire Latin American tour last month, citing "extreme exhaustion".

The musician had already announced a headlining show at the O2 Arena in Greenwich in February 2026. Now, he has added 11 new dates across Europe for February and March. The tour kicks off in Denmark on February 13th, followed by performances in Germany, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands before arriving in London on February 28th. From there, he will continue to France, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain.

Morrissey's tour of Brazil and Latin America was originally scheduled for the second half of 2023. At the time, the singer postponed the dates to the beginning of 2024, claiming to have contracted dengue fever upon arriving in Mexico.

He then cancelled his entire 2024 tour, as his tour manager, Donnie Kutson , claimed that the singer “is under medical supervision due to physical exhaustion.” Now, he is cancelling the Latin American tour again.

Following these cancellations, the musician shared a simple update on his website , writing: "I know it will happen someday."
