Morrissey announces covers album called California Son

Morrissey will cover songs by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Roy Orbison.

Former Smiths frontman Morrissey has announced a new album of cover songs titled California Son .

The announcement was made through the official website, revealing that Morrissey recorded versions of songs by Bob Dylan , Joni Mitchell , and Roy Orbison .

California Son was produced by Joe Chiccarelli and consists of 12 tracks. There is no release date yet. The tracklist can be seen below:
