Moonspell will perform in Brazil in April
The Portuguese band Moonspell is coming to Brazil for a series of four shows at the end of April. The shows are part of the tour promoting their latest album, 1755, released last year by Napalm Records.
Sung entirely in Portuguese, 1755 is a conceptual work that portrays the period when an earthquake, coupled with fires and a tsunami, devastated the capital of Portugal, Lisbon.
The album was produced by Tue Madsen, who has worked with bands such as Meshuggah, The Haunted, and Dark Tranquility, and features a cover of the song "Lanterna Dos Afogados" by the Brazilian band Paralamas Do Sucesso.
The last time Moonspell came to Brazil was in 2015, where they performed at Rock In Rio.
