The Rio de Janeiro-based group Montanee released the single “Brooklyn Sleeps” via ForMusic Records . The song anticipates the EP Recalling Dreams , which will be released in the second half of 2024, and follows the single “Gray”.

The new song is a collaboration with Tyler Bryant , leader of the band Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown , who has toured the world with big names in rock such as AC/DC and Guns N' Roses.

Speaking about his participation, guitarist Felipe Areais commented: “An exceptional guitarist with a great feeling for exploring the instrument, I can't imagine it today without his guitar; he took the track to another level.”

“Brooklyn Sleeps,” according to a press release, tells the story of a relationship that ended early on: “A story so common where only one side is thinking ahead, planning situations, and placing hopes.”.

Recorded in New York, Recalling Dreams draws influences from artists such as Foo Fighters , Arctic Monkeys , Nothing But Thieves , Royal Blood , and more.

The work was produced by Joel Hamilton , who commented: “It was a wonderful experience working with such an experienced guy. Besides technique, he has an incredible talent for communicating with the group, capturing the feeling of that story and translating that into the music.”

Besides Felipe, Montanee is composed of Teo Kligerman (drums) and Raphael Moraes (bass and guitar).
