Wikimetal will be part of the jury
The Monsters of Rock festival opened registration today for a Hard Rock and Heavy Metal band competition.
In the "Monsters of Rock Challenge," two bands will be selected to play at the festival in October, alongside names like Slipknot, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, and all the other bands that are at the festival. Each of the chosen bands will play on one of the two days of Monsters of Rock 2013.

Wikimetal, along with 89FM, will participate in the jury that will select the 10 bands that best represent the spirit of Monsters of Rock. Those selected by the jury will then enter the final vote that will decide the winning bands.

27/08 – Contest Launch
September 20th – Registration closes
27/09 – Shortlist of 10 bands for popular vote
10/10 – Announcement of the 2 winning bands
Attention Participants!
Only material that meets the requirements stipulated in the regulations will be accepted. Entrants who submitted more than 2 songs must resubmit the material in the correct format. It is not necessary to re-register; simply use the submission tool at http://uolaradiorock.wetransfer.com, providing the same email address used for registration.
NOTE: Please avoid sending excess material such as photos, videos, and press releases. If the band qualifies for the final, additional materials will be requested directly by the competition organizers.
