The acclaimed Monsters of Rock is back in Brazil! After seven years without new editions in the country, the event returns to the state of São Paulo in April 2023, produced by Mercury Concerts.
Announced for April 22, 2023, just one weekend before another rock and metal festival in the city, the Summer Breeze Festival , which takes place on April 29 and 30, the event has not yet revealed any acts.
According to journalist José Norberto Flesch , who leaked the announcement of the new edition on Tuesday night, the 15th, the festival has not yet finalized the lineup of acts.
Created in Castle Donington , the festival first took place in 1980. In Brazil, Monsters of Rock has had five editions, initially in alternating years in the 1990s (1994, 1996, 1998), returning in 2013 and 2015.
