When you think of European hard rock, Europe is one of the leading names. With a career spanning four decades, the Swedish band has established itself with numerous hits and ballads that provided soundtracks throughout the 80s.

On the stage of Monsters Of Rock 30 Years , the group led by Joey Tempest returned to São Paulo after six years. Before the festival, the group had played in Brasília on April 16th.

The vocalist interacted extensively in Portuguese, saying "Sing with me," "Everyone," "Hello São Paulo," and even using swear words. He also spent a large part of the performance with a Brazilian flag tied to his pants.

Guitarist John Norum delivered flawless solos, and there wasn't a single song the audience didn't sing along to. Cell phone flashlights illuminated Allianz Parque during "Carrie." Classics like "Rock The Night," "Supersticious," and "On Broken Wings" were also present. "The Final Countdown" closed out a great show. Any rock fan, and music lover in general, deserves to hear it live at least once in their life.

Tempest is an excellent frontman. He doesn't stop for a second and his voice is still in excellent shape. At the end of the show, the band promised to return soon. Europe is expected to release a new album in 2026.
