Foo Fighters reunite with Krist Novoselic to perform “Molly's Lips”; watch

The song was originally recorded by The Vaselines, and Nirvana immortalized it with a recording in the 90s.

Former Nirvana Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic reunited during a Foo Fighters at Safeco Field in Seattle last Saturday, the 1st. There, the band, famous for performing live covers, including a version of "Under Pressure" with Roger Taylor , played "Molly's Lips," a track by The Vaselines that Nirvana made famous on the album Incesticide (1992).

“This is an old song, we haven’t played it together in a long time,” Grohl declared after welcoming Novoselic on stage. The performance marks the second time the two have played the version together, the first being in 2015 in Scotland. On the other hand, Nirvana performed “Molly’s Lips” live almost 50 times during their existence.
