The American band Miss May I returns to Brazil in May for a single show in the country. The event takes place on May 29th in São Paulo, at City Lights in Pinheiros.
Miss May I is famous for its breakdowns, heavy riffs, and soaring melodic choruses. In addition to lower-tuned guitars and a greater presence of electronics and string arrangements, Levi Benton range from intense guttural to raspy. Meanwhile, bassist Ryan Neff delivers clean vocal melodies, creating a dynamic contrast between aggression and melody.
The show in São Paulo is part of an unprecedented tour of Latin America. The band will perform while producing a new album, which will be the successor to the acclaimed Curse of Existence . The band also played last month at Knotfest Australia and is one of the names being considered for the return edition of the Vans Warped Tour .
At the same time, Miss May I comes to Brazil the year after the victorious The Apologies Tour , in which the band celebrated, in 2024, the 15th anniversary of their debut album, Apologies Are for the Weak , still today an emblematic record of world metalcore.
The show in São Paulo is being produced by New Direction Productions , which has already begun work in 2025 with tours in Latin America for Glitterer , Lionheart , Zulu , and is bringing back to Brazil the iconic Earth Crisis , a band that is part of the NDP fest .
The complete tour, which includes more countries in Latin America, is being produced by Dreamers Entertainment in conjunction with Sound Talent Group .
