Miley Cyrus ' headbanger side continues into 2021. And after featuring names like Joan Jett and Billy Idol on the album Plastic Hearts , the American singer has announced more big names who will join her on her upcoming Metallica cover album , announced last October , and expected to be released in 2021.

In an interview with the English radio program Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp , the artist reveals more details about the project, “I did a cover of 'Nothing Else Matters' by Metallica with Elton John on piano. I have Yo-Yo Ma , Chad Smith (drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers ), so many great stars.”

“I’m excited about this collaboration,” she continues. “ Andrew Watt ( Ozzy Osbourne ) produced it and I’m very happy. I mean, having Elton John and Metallica and me, I love it when the ingredients kind of don’t fit together.”

Cyrus has already been praised by none other than Lars Ulrich for her cover of Temple Of the Dog ." Furthermore, she performed a rendition of the classic "Nothing Else Matters" at the 2019 Glastonbury Festival; check out the performance below:
