Singer Miley Cyrus may have only recently started incorporating her rock influences into her music, but that hasn't stopped her album Plastic Hearts from reaching number 1 on the US rock charts.

“My mind is exploding and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Thank you to all the creative collaborators involved in this project! If one person was missing, I wouldn’t be writing this message,” the singer writes in a post that includes a video of the artist’s reaction, incredulous and unable to believe the album’s release.

“To the fucking idols Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Billy Idol , and Stevie Nicks , your blessing, guidance, inspiration, and validation mean everything to me,” Miley writes, also taking the time to thank each of her collaborators and idols individually in the post, check it out below. “Even if you three tell me I don’t need validation from anyone but myself. The confidence I have in who I am/what I’m doing stems from the values instilled by looking to you three as my role models from the beginning.”

The artist also dedicated an entire post to honoring producer Andrew Watt , also responsible for Ozzy Osbourne 's "Ordinary Man ." Cyrus didn't hold back on the praise: "You are a ROCK GOD. Your unwavering belief in my art is fueling the rocket we're launching out of this fucking atmosphere! 10 years of memories behind us and so much more to do ahead! I cherish every second we're together. Watching you work is amazing. Long live the guy who has [Justin] Bieber at 2 and Metallica at 7 (and throws me in the middle of it all)."
