Miley Cyrus released two new songs this Friday, the 19th, in collaborations with iconic names in rock. The pop artist shared "Secrets," with Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham ( Fleetwood Mac ), as well as the track "Lockdown" with David Byrne ( The Talking Heads ).
The tracks are part of the deluxe edition of Miley Cyrus' ninth and most recent album, Something Beautiful. In a press release, Miley commented on "Secrets" [via NME ]: "This song was written as an offering of peace to someone I lost for a while, but whom I always loved. In my experience, forgiveness and freedom are the same thing. Thank you to Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood for bringing magic to the song. This song is for my father."
In 2020, Cyrus released the single "Edge Of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix)," in collaboration with Stevie Nicks .
