American singer Miley Cyrus has announced that she is currently working on an album of Metallica .

The revelation may surprise many people, but Miley had already embraced her headbanger through covers of "Head Like A Hole" by Nine Inch Nails , "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd , "Say Hello 2 Heaven" by Temple of the Dog , which earned praise from Lars Ulrich , and the inspiration for her new album, Metallica, with a rendition of "Nothing Else Matters" at the Glastonbury festival in 2019 .

“We’re working on a Metallica cover album and I’m here working on it,” she says in an interview with Interview . “We’re so lucky to continue working on our art in the midst of all this. At first, it seemed so uninspiring and now I’m totally involved.”

Recently, the artist also surprised fans by performing new covers of rock classics, such as "Heart Of Glass" by Blondie , "Boys Don't Cry" by The Cure , and "Zombie" by The Cranberries . Check out the performances below:
