Miley didn't make it to the location and continued her trip, canceling her headlining performance at the event on Wednesday, the 23rd. “To my fans and everyone concerned after hearing about the [incident during] my flight to Asunción: Our plane was caught in a large, unexpected storm and struck by lightning. My team, band, friends, and family who were traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing. Unfortunately, we were unable to continue to Paraguay. I love you all,” the singer wrote on social media.
