Dee speaks in an interview.

In an interview with the website BackstageAxxess, Motörhead drummer and current Scorpions drummer Mikkey Dee spoke about Lemmy and future plans with his new band.

Dee said that Lemmy loved Scorpions: “I hope he likes what I’m doing. I know he loved Scorpions. He had a lot of respect for the band. He always said, ‘They’ve been around longer than us.’ And I’ve said this in many interviews, every drum beat I play from now on is a small tribute to my friend Lemmy. That’s how I feel.”

The drummer also said that the band might go into the studio next year: “I hope that next year we can get together and produce an album. I don't know. That's up to them, we'll see what happens.”
