Mikkey Dee , former drummer for Motörhead and currently with Scorpions , revealed on his social media that he was diagnosed with COVID-19 months ago.
Don Dokken ’s statement regarding my situation with the coronavirus. I did get coronavirus and was sick for about a month,” Dee states. “Now I’m fully recovered since mid-April. I was already playing hockey and drumming since the end of April. Unfortunately, my good friend Don got some information wrong. I didn’t get coronavirus in Australia, I contracted the virus in Sweden. I didn’t lose 35 pounds, I lost 15 pounds. But, as I just mentioned, I’m now fully recovered and have antibodies, which is great.”
"I can't wait for things to get back to normal so we can hit the road again. Thank you for your support, and my heart goes out to everyone affected by the current situation our world is in," the drummer concludes.
Scorpions, who released the song "Sign Of Hope" which will feature fans from around the world , are also preparing for a new album .
